Mystwood Manor is developed by Faerin, who is known for the game Man of the house. Mystwood Manor follows the story of a young man who becomes the in-charge of a very old and mysterious hotel due to some unexpected events. Join the Main character in unraveling the mysteries of Mystwood while running and growing the hotel business. The story is filled with new adventures, dark secrets, and lots of sex.
Man of the house was the first adult game I have ever played and it always holds a special place in my heart. So naturally, I was really excited about this new game by Faerin. And to be honest, although it took time, Mystwood Manor has become one of my favorites, especially with the last 3-4 updates being very… interesting.
Art and Production
First, let’s talk about the gameplay mechanics of the game. The gameplay was very well designed giving us an open-world feel to the players. You can visit different places from the map and try to get the whole picture of Mystwood and its history. You can visit the girls while they are working or resting and improve relationships with them. We have an option to visit the guests as well but we don’t have the story for guests yet except for the guest “Orville Nestor” who is a historian, he tells us the history of Mystwood which is a very interesting story, I personally really liked it. All in all, the gameplay mechanics are pretty cool but the only problem being the grind for the money and work experience of the girls, without grind these gameplay mechanics are outstanding.
The art or the visuals of this game are very impressive. Visuals are improved a lot when compared to the previous game, the amount of detail in each render is amazing. The skin textures of the characters, especially Julia, Amber, and Annika are very realistic and Julia really looks like MILF and realistic to her age rather than some 25-year-old looking woman portrayed as an old MILF. The animations in the game are pretty smooth and again Faerin has improved his animations compared to his previous game. The different places, locations, and environments are very well designed. So overall, the art in Mystwood Manor is fantastic.
Story and Plot
The story of the Mystwood Manor is really interesting and makes us wonder what will happen next. The Love interests in the game are really gorgeous and each one of them has their individual story line. We also have guests but I wonder if they are romanceable or not, would be great if they were, because guests look fantastic especially Nora and Sofia. The mystery-driven story keeps the player captivated and things are getting pretty lewd since the last 3-4 updates which will only make the game more entertaining as we proceed.
We also have some humorous exchanges from the construction character “Micky” and also, the way NPCs behave when you say “Rooms are unavailable” is just priceless, and looking at their expressions at that time is a guilty pleasure of mine. The plot of finding as to who is threatening MC to leave Mystwood and investigating into history of the place is becoming more interesting for each update. Overall, Faerin this time gave a captivating story with great visuals for us to experience.
Mystwood Manor is really good in almost all departments with one exception and probably the only thing I don’t like about the game, that is grind. Hopefully, Faerin plans to release a story mode as well for the people who are just interested in story and sex and don’t want the grind and hotel managing stuff. This is really an amazing game and I hope Faerin finishes this with care and gives us the best experience possible.
