In what was described as them “going solo for their own reasons”, TTrick is separating from the Kamo development team. When reached for comment, TTrick mentioned that there was no drama involved in the separation and that this was entirely for personal reasons that don’t involve Ink (the other member of Kamo).
What does this mean for the game’s that Kamo as a group was developing? Well, as far as Long Story Short is concerned, development is going to continue, just on TTrick’s own Patreon. Duo on the other hand is in a kind of limbo right now, partly because the last update was in 2019 (and the last mention of the game seems to date to the beginning of 2020), but also because Ink still hasn’t addressed the separation of Kamo, or how they plan to continue forward, with either Duo, a different game/project entirely, or their Patreon.
TTrick has started their Patreon account and stated that while people can subscribe, he will not be charging Patrons until they’re fully established.
You can see TTricks full statement on their Patreon.
We reached out to Ink (other half of Kamo) for comment, but they have yet to get back to us.
