Domiek has completed Personal Trainer!
We approached Domiek for a comment while congratulating him on this achievement, and he had the following to say:
Personal Trainer was originally a “silly little project to learn how to use DAZ3D and Ren’Py” that two and a half years, three render engines and half a dozen software later has finally come to an end. I’m grateful for all my supporters and all those who encouraged me to take the time to develop my abilities.
Domiek
For the next project, I’m taking this same learning approach and applying it to storytelling. A script is being written that resembles a screenplay. Character sheets, shot lists and a story structure resembling classic film is being developed before a single pixel is rendered. I aim to implement a lean story where every word and visual has a purpose. If the player finds themselves skipping through the writing, then I’ve done something wrong. This project will remain shrouded in mystery until the planning stage is finalized.
If Personal Trainer was a cow, the next project is an artisanal salami. I’m looking forward to having you all wrap your lips around my salami. Go on, have a taste.
Looks like we’ll have to keep an eye out for this new project, and it’s great to see another dev complete a game and stay busy!
