ICSTOR delays Milfy City indefinitely to work on different project

Industry veteran ICSTOR hit big with Milfy City, quickly climbing to the top of adult creators on Patreon. After a period of regular releases the developer started struggling to put out new content, eventually attributing this to burn-out and depression. Things appeared to be in motion again with the release of 0.71b in July 2021, but now (after a long period of radio silence from the developer) the project is kept on hold indefinitely according to the administrator of the ICSTOR Discord server.

In a long message posted in a patron-only channel and reproduced below, administrator Ashbash talks about recent troubles with Patreon being the final nail in the coffin of Milfy City. The original game featured a storyline where a female teacher was blackmailed into sexual acts by the player, something which isn’t allowed by Patreon’s content guidelines.

At first, ICSTOR committed to doing a rewrite of the original game, removing the offending content, but the developer apparently had a change of heart. Instead of publishing the altered game and finishing it, as mentioned in the sparse communication from the developer over the past two years, all focus is instead on a new game, called Milfy Mafia. Based on the Discord message, the game will be published exclusively on rival platform SubscribeStar around June 2022, potentially leaving ICSTOR’s 4900+ patrons without anything to patronize.

The change in direction has yet to be communicated officially by ICSTOR, as the last post on the developer’s Patreon and SubscribeStar accounts is from November 2021.
