HuniePot released the second installment of their popular puzzle/dating sim/visual novel hybrid HuniePop earlier this week. The game, subtitled Double Date, is a follow-up to the original HuniePop which was funded by a Kickstarter campaign in 2015.
Like the first game, HuniePop 2 focuses on a nameless protagonist (The Player) who meets and potentially romances various girls on the exotic island Inna De Poona. You go on dates with some familiar sweethearts from the previous game, but also some fresh faces, and woo them with your charm and thoughtful gifts.
There’s trouble brewing on Inna De Poona though, the Nymphojinn will soon awaken and wreak lusty havoc on the inhabitants. Of course the protagonist is the only one who’ll be able to overcome the threat of insatiable depravity of the Nymphojinn. It probably involves a whole lot of sex and solving puzzles.
Some of the features of the game include voice acting, a laidback soundtrack and several gameplay tweaks compared to the original version of HuniePop. The game is available on various marketplaces, including Steam, GOG and Humble Store.
