I love fantasy themed AVNs, especially those that feature magic and mythical creatures, therefore Reluctant Archon by Kyois is one of my favourite AVNs and why I’ve selected it for this week’s staff pick.
In Reluctant Archon you play as a club owner/sorcerer who has been hiding from his family for 8 years due to a traumatic event that caused the MC a great loss. Unfortunately due to certain current events, things begin to change for and to the MC and certain secrets can no longer remain secret any longer. Reluctant Archon features many characters both human and mythical such as your bouncer and friend Sammy who is an Orc or Your sexy human friend/fling Vanessa who also happens to be a cop. The more you play, the more characters you get to meet and yes, there are some very sexy lewd scenes you get to enjoy as you play.
I highly recommend Reluctant Archon to anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre with magic and mythical creatures plus an incredibly dramatic story that will definitely get you hooked. Even if magic and fantasy isn’t usually your thing, I still recommend that you give it a try as I bet there will be a couple of characters in Reluctant Archon that you will fall in love with and can’t wait to see more of!

Reluctant archon is a pretty good VN, I like how alien the protagonist seems, since he is kinda of a higher being is normal that he wont have the same empathy for human suffering as we humans do, and is precisely his human lover who manages to make him care for others, that made him a very interesting character.
