The fantasy genre is one of timelessness. One can spend hours in the worlds of orcs and dragons, battling alongside warlocks and knights. Fantasy opens us to the adventurer within us and lets us explore our whims and desires. And with adventure comes romance, and with romance comes… You know what. Here are six games that feature a bit more than just fantasy.
Long Live the Princess

Long Live the Princess is an interesting game. A curious mediaeval fantasy detective game; it’s a type of game you don’t see often in the adult space. The game itself is well-written and delivers some amazing characters to rouse and romance. If you’re looking for a unique fantasy game to scratch an itch, then look no further than Long Live the Princess.
Hero’s Harem Guild

Hero’s Harem Guild is many things, but boring is not one of them. This is a game with decently fun mechanics and adorable characters. My favourite being Lady Rebecca. Paired with decent writing, Hero’s Harem Guild becomes an energetic and humorous romp that’s sure to be enjoyable from start to finish.
Price for Freedom: Avarice
A top-down adult fantasy RPG? The old-schooled CRPG enthusiast in me quakes in excitement. It’s generally quite rare to find RPGs in the adult space, and Price for Freedom fills that niche splendidly. From gorgeous hand drawn assets to a satisfying gameplay loop. There’s a lot being offered here that you can’t help but love.
Mythic Manor

Unlike the other games on this list, the fantasy draw comes from the “mythical” characters. Many of the girls you’ll meet are human-like creatures such as sphinxes, phoenixes, etc. At the beginning of the game, the MC inherits the titular Mythic Manor, and we then begin to form relations with these folkloric beings.
Corrupted Kingdoms

Corrupted Kingdoms stitches together reality and fantasy in a tidy game with great visuals and production. The characters are as varied as they are magical, and the writing is strong enough to carry the game’s weight. In the game, our MC is suddenly plunged deep into the magical world where things are not as they seem, and a mysterious unfathomable danger lurks in the shadows stalking him. With things as dangerous as ever, he has to find a way to protect his new friends.
And that’s my list done. I’m a bit old-fashioned, so I prefer games with a high-fantasy feel, like Price for Freedom or Long Live the Princess. But how about you? Perhaps something with a more modern twist like Mythic Manor? Tell what your fantasies are in the comments!
What about Champion of Realms?
